The Sales Engineer (SE) plays a crucial role in bridging the technical and sales teams. This individual is responsible for providing pre-sales technical support to customers, partners, and the sales team, ensuring that prospects and clients understand the technical capabilities and benefits of CRM solutions. The Sales Engineer is a trusted advisor, leveraging deep product knowledge and technical expertise to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and drive sales success.

Responsibilities:

1. Pre-sales Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and tailor solutions based on the Creatio platform’s capabilities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, proofs of concept (PoC), and presentations to showcase the technical aspects of CRM solutions.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, RFPs, RFIs, and provide detailed technical and solution-oriented responses.
  • Engage with prospects to analyze their business needs and translate them into a technical solution using CRM capabilities.

2. Solution Design & Customization:

  • Work closely with clients to design customized solutions that address their specific business and technical requirements.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on the best use of products and tools to meet client objectives.
  • Assist in defining solution architecture and advising on integration requirements and data flow.

3. Customer and Stakeholder Interaction:

  • Develop strong relationships with prospective clients, ensuring that our solutions align with their technical and business goals.
  • Provide technical guidance throughout the sales cycle, including post-sales onboarding and handoff to implementation teams.

4. Sales Enablement:

  • Develop and maintain technical sales collateral, including product demos, presentations, FAQs, and case studies.
  • Assist in the creation of proposals and quotes, ensuring that all technical aspects of the solution are correctly represented.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • 3+ years in a Sales Engineering or Solutions Engineering role, ideally in SaaS, CRM, or related enterprise software domains.
  • Experience in pre-sales support, including delivering technical demos, presentations, and solutions.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, APIs, integrations, and enterprise architecture.
  • Prior experience with Creatio or similar CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus.
  • Technical certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Salesforce) can be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with key technologies such as databases, web services (REST, SOAP), and middleware tools.
  • Experience with business process automation, low-code/no-code development, and customer experience management.
